I’ve been painting for over fifty years now, catching the magical way light falls on West of Ireland hills, the personality in rural villages and Atlantic harbours, the rhythm of objects in Still Life setups, the unique personality in the faces of young and old commissioned portraits. I work from my studio in Cross near Cong, Co. Mayo — a Geopark region with history and artefacts dating back thousands of years.

Five days of plein air painting on the Wild Atlantic coast — seascapes, landscapes, and harbours — with John Dinan. Indoor studio for daily reviews and painting if weather unsuitable for outdoor work. A small group — no more than twelve painters.
